Redware Chocolate Pot
Adapted from a specimen seen in a painting by Rococo artist, Jean Baptiste Simeon Chardin, c. 1760, this redware pottery pot is perfect for making coffee or hot chocolate. Standing approximately 7-1/2β high with a base diameter of approximately 4-1/2β, this chocolate pot is glazed on the inside with lead-free clear glaze. Recipes are included as well as a 12β milling stick for frothing the chocolate.Β For use over embers, not recommended to be used on stove tops.Β
