  Our Deluxe Knapsack is a trekkers' dream and is based on documented period examples. The body is made of durable linen canvas, with high quality leather straps and leather reinforcement on the top and bottom where the straps connect. All of the stress points are hand sewn. Brass buckles keep everything closed up tight, and small leather strapping hangs from the bottom to easily tie a bed roll or other items used in the field. Measures 17" wide by 14" tall when closed. It opens to reveal two sizeable pockets, the secondary pocket is in the "lid" flap that is accessed through an opening in the middle, like a market wallet.
